Scarred Hands
If the joy of the Lord is your strength 

And you have been fighting the good fight of faith

Then even the scars of life will embellish the word of your testimony.

If the joy of the Lord is not your source strength, 

And you have not been fighting a good fight of faith.

Then chances are your life is filled with bitterness and hate.

Even without visible scars.

There is a root cause to bitterness.

And only the blood of Jesus can remove.

Still he cautioned us in His Word

Not to let the root of bitterness spring up among us.
