At our conception before we were first called christians at Antioch. Christ was lead of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the Devil. John the Baptist pleaded with Him saying, You are the righteous One more so than anyone. You should be baptizing me instead of me baptizing you. Messiah replied, let it be so in order to fulfill all righteous.
Then at the end of His earthly life He rode on a slow moving donkey to His crucification.

Cursed is anyone who hangs from a tree. Cursed of His fellows He cried, ‘Father forgive them they no not what they do.’ Then at the completion of His prophetic life, He hung His head and died.
Earlier that day they came to arrest Him for the good He did. His disciple Peter rose up and cut an ear off an arresting officer.
I can understand Peter cutting the ears off his enemy to start a holy revolt. He must have been aiming for the top of his head.
Not much have changed regarding our defense of truth. The enemy comes like a raging flood but truth will walk on water. When a man raises his own standard his tradition makes the truth of God non effectual. To the Crucifying of anyone who violate our sense of righteousness. Not only do we cut off ears, we pluck out their eyes for good measure. Establishing ourselves in contempt of the holy book.
Against the advice of His followers, Jesus went to the cross so that anyone who believe in Him would not perish but have everlasting life.
Why the shedding of His blood for the remission of sin.
Dust to dust and ashes to ashes.
From dust we came and to dust we shall return.
Why? Oh why is the shedding of the innocent blood.
For the life of the flesh is the blood.
The blood of the innocent crying out from the ground.
And if you don’t do well sin is waiting at your door.
Absorbing the blood of the innocent in the life of the flesh.
