My Addiction Is

The more I come to know the good, the more the evil gets.
The more I know is the more that is required.
The more I am forgiving is the more I love.

Draw close to God and He draws closer to you.
In my innocence Christ is as close as I’ll ever get.
To him that knows much, much is required.
There is a danger in knowing that,
Where knowledge is power men puffs up.

So humble my strength is under control.
To taste and see that God is good.
My addiction is that I am hooked on the gospel of Jesus Christ.
There is no cure for me other than to confess
myself a sinner saved by grace.
