How often have we heard that the Bible was written by men at the inspiration of God. So we can imagine that if these were Bible days the letters and scrolls would be on Facebook. Also fair to say not many are patient to read between the lines long enough to hear the Spirit say that, ‘Love Is A People Thing’ https://youtu.be/YP1eSs_oaKc
Apostle Peter a disciple of Christ was asked for the public opinion of who Christ is. They gave many identities for the person of Jesus. Peter himself confessed that Jesus is the Son of the living God. Jesus Himself never testified of Himself being the Son of God. He reserved that for the Father in heaven. Though if He did His testimony is true.
Of the wise who followed His star to the cock that crowed three times after Peter had denied Him three times. Jesus forwarded a word to stimulate our spirits.
Where else can anyone find such an expression of love except by the Son of God. By the testimony of two or three the Word is established. Such as God the Father Son and Holy Spirit working together as one to establish the living Word in us. There are instances in all our lives where the Word of God convicts to identify Jesus the Son of God.
In the beginning was the Word. The Word is God who made all things by His Word. Saying let there be and there was. Jesus the Word of God existed with God before Christ came and died for the sins of the world.
The words of the Gospel is not the words of the Son they are the words of the Father. Jesus spoke what He Heard of the Father. Father and Son together in the Wisdom of the Holy Spirit. The trinity of the God head is more than burning a candle in their honor. They are the living God. Like the sun was made to lights the noon day, Jesus is the light that shines in the darkness of our souls. Hidden from the lost, the light of God shines through the darkness but the darkness is blind by default with the assumption that Christ is not the Son of God. Darkness is afraid of the Light and runs away into the night.

How can two who walk together and not be in agreement with each other? The fact is we are at one together blaspheming the works of Christ in ignorance. A stand alone statement of Jesus is this. “I if I be lifted up I will draw all men to myself.” What if we all did? Shout “Hosanna” blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. But we won’t, not really. Still the Spirit of Christ searches the hearts for the lost. Are you lost?
At the trial of Jesus He was asked, are you king of the Jews? He answered, you say that I Am. Herod stated, I have the power to set you free. Jesus broke silence again and remarked, you have no power over me except it was given by God. What great love the Father has for us to be called children of God? For that reason the world does not know us because it doesn’t know the Son of God.
Making e references of time to BC and AD but the time of Christ is the most important in history. He is the son of man to many but to the church He is the Christ Son of the living God. On this rock He said, I will build My church and the gates of Hell will not prevail against us. Flesh and blood have not revealed it to us. It is expressly done by the Father of Jesus Christ Himself.
God the Father is the bedrock of the church Christ is building. God the Father calls us to His most holy of holy Son of the living God. He opens the door no other man can open and He closes the door no man can shut. If today you hear that voice? Harden not your heart in provocation. Knock and it shall be open, seek and you will find. The confession that Jesus is the Son of the living God has it’s own reward. Which is the Body of Christ Himself and Church of the living God. That city not made by men but by every Word that comes from the mouth of God.
Abraham saw us in Melchizedek. We see ourselves in Jesus Christ. The words spoken are the words of our Father who is in heaven.
The stage is set as the final scene and the Gospel is global. The umbilical cord was severed at the cross and the church of the living God is made a ministry. The good we do comes from the church of the living God. Are you there yet?
