Can a man or woman be divided in themselves and not be confused?
And if the man and the woman is confused,
Wouldn’t the world be just as confused? or without order.
What God has separated let no man or woman put together.
What God has joined together let no one separate.
The man and his wife is two in one and one in two.
If it be that he or she was as one with many know this,
The the kingdom sets the standard for the world no matter how crafty we become.
In the resurrection we are not given in marriage to each other.
We are as spiritual beings in heaven.
Jesus answered, “Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’
‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?
So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
So what about same sex marriages, I asked? Shouldn’t they have equal rights
even as one who is joined together by there own belief or understanding?
Jesus answered, “You are mistaken because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.
In the resurrection, people will neither marry nor be given in marriage.
An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord’s affairs—how he can please the Lord.
But a married man is concerned about the affairs of this world—how he can please his wife—
The highest ambition of everyone should be this.
Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,
I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection…..and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.
