Jonah’s Run

This generation seek for a sigh but none given except for Jonah in the belly of the whale three days.

The word of the Lord came to Jonah, go to Nineveh preaching repentance.

Had it been the thunderous voice of God Jonah might have avoided the belly of hell. But no, it was the word of God that came to him with the option to obey.

To protest the word of God for personal, political or religious reasons will always translate to acts of disobedience in any religion.

Three days in hell for Jonah and for Jesus was a sign of repentance.

Jonah’s run is a depressive state with the word of God in hot pursuit.

David said ‘if I make my bed in hell God is there.’ Death is no relief from the word of God for our lives. Jonah’s willingness to perish for his rebellious attitude on two occasions probes no escaping the word of God for our lives.

Jonah’s the prophet was secure in knowledge that nothing can separate us from the love of God. Even though we the people of God sometimes can’t tell the difference between our right and left hand. God’s conversation with Jonah concerning the people of Nineveh is that we care about the life of things above people in ignorance of God.

Jonah’s Run is a repentance never to be repented of. A three day journey consolidated in one day for the mercies of God. Who is attracted to people living in ignorance of Him. By reason, this gospel of the kingdom must be preached to all nations before the end of life as we understand it.
