Merry Christmas!

God The Father Son and Holy Spirit.

John’s baptism, God The Father’s testimony of his beloved son, the Holy Spirit engulfing The Body of Jesus Christ is a transformation to a more glorious image of God in the world.

Go to a Christian church and the introduction will always contain the identity of the trinity as the One God. A unique but not so original identity of God to believers who are alive in Jesus Christ.

12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. This is the fulfillment of all righteousness past present and future. Everything and everyone else plays a supporting role as the wheat or the chaff.

(Matt. 3:16)

….and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Here I have a mental picture of the God Head. In partnership with John’s baptism. I declare at my own baptism that ‘It’s not what I can do but it is rather what Christ has already done.’ for the redemption of the world.

Cousin John was born under similar circumstances as Jesus in the company of angels. He jumped for joy as he John recognized the works of the Holy Spirit from the womb of his mother. John’s own father and priest working in the temple of Jerusalem was rendered speechless questioning the works of the Holy Spirit.

After John’s affirmation and baptism of Jesus, the heavens were parted and Jesus himself was referenced in the third person participle by His Father.

Sometimes we have to step away from the natural man to see the spirit of God working in all things to accomplish the works of God.

Even as it is written in the law of the Lord. The first son be given unto the Lord. My Lord was given to the Lord at His dedication by the supporting testimony of the prophet Simon . 32’ a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to Your people Israel.”

Merry Christmas,
