Jesus Prayer

The conclusion Of John 3:16 is the summary of Jesus praying according to John 17. If you find that this is offensive to you then just maybe you have found yourself excluded where you should be included, in the prayer of Jesus. His prayer is not for any particular nation of people. It is for the you, given to Him as a gift from your father for His work of salvation. Package so nicely and returned to sender before the world was created. For as long as it takes, this world is a sinking ship. We can sleep for one day or for millions of years. Makes no difference because the sleeping knows no measure of time. Be honest with yourself and to God.

Good Father, the people of this world don’t know you. But I know you, and my followers know that you sent me..And I have made Your name known to them and will continue to make it known, so that the love You have for Me may be in them, and I in them.

Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent. For You granted Him authority over all people, so that He may give eternal life to all those You have given Him

I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours. I have revealed Your name to those You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours; You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. I ask on their behalf. I do not ask on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those You have given Me; for they are Yours. All I have is Yours, and all You have is Mine;

Holy Father, protect them by Your name, the name You gave Me, I am not asking that You take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the evil one. As You sent Me into the world, I have also sent them into the world. I am not asking on behalf of them alone, but also on behalf of those who will believe in Me through their message, Father, I want those You have given Me to be with Me where I am, that they may see the glory You gave Me because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
