Are We There Yet?

I remember my children asking as we traveled, are we there yet? A common question asked by children strapped in a car seat. I can’t imagine the atrocities of children traveling in war torn countries. May God bless them all.

There are so many praying about the war in the Ukraine. I am too. Ezekiel thirty-eight is the talk of the day with Israel connecting the dots on Bible prophesy.

So as I prepared for war in prayer I asked, Lord are we there yet? Wanting to know how I should pray specifically and in agreement with my fellow Christians and in agreement with God for this time.

May the mercies of God be extended to each and every soul suffering by war in all the world. May the churches and families of God be restored as a testimony to Jesus Christ. And if one suffers more than the other it is the prerogative of God that we bare one another’s burden without political indifference.

In answer to my question are we there yet? the restoration of Israel is the primary concern of Israel. Salvation is the primary concerns of God. The answer is still the same today as it was when the disciples enquired of Jesus Christ.

7Jesus replied, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by His own authority. 8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Nevertheless, Jesus being the companionate savior of the world and the first of many believers provided a cheat sheet as to where we are and what we should be doing with the time we have left.

10They were looking intently into the sky as He was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven.”

• and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

• As God work we work and as we work God works. We in Him and He in us to do the works of God and greater because He is with His Father. If God be for us who can be against us…

Jesus is hard at work in heaven preparing a place for us. Then He will return in the sky to greet us in like manner. Then a little longer still we will observe Him in the restoration of Israel. We are not there yet and in the mean time no government or head of state can destroy the Earth or change the promise of Israel. They will in their repetitious wars for dominance facilitate the time and seasons God has placed in His own power.

Sorry to see that as Ukrainians are being displaced in war. So will the children of God who are not praying in one accord and with the compassion of the Holy Ghost. My heart is sad for the refugees of the world and especially for those believers in Jesus Chris suffering for their faith in God.

The vast riches of the world cannot save a single soul but the prayer of the righteous is a weapon for the pulling down of strong holds in the entire world. So it is the way of salvation and the courage of God’s people is made known in all the world. Open our eyes and cause us to know that as the world is united against you so are we united in you. Give us the courage to stand even as we have done all to stand in the name of Jesus I pray. Amen
