If the dead are not raised, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.” And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
5 We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. 28Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation…And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
The Lord does not delay his promise, as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish but all to come to repentance. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
