Gates Of Hell

‘Keep it simple Stupid.’ KISS, an acronym for “Keep it simple, stupid!”, is a designprinciple noted by the U.S. Navy in 1960.

For the new age Peter recognized Jesus as Christ Son of the living God confirmed by God the Father. Then by mutual recognition Jesus instituted the foundation of the church. A recognition of who He is and who we are to be in Him. Jesus said, you are Peter and upon this rock I will build my church and the Gates of Hell will not prevail against it. Seems like He would have said against us but He didn’t. He said it.

The God who made the universe and everything in it is moved by Peter’s acknowledgment of who is. Found something He could use and with the excitement of a child confessed that ‘flesh and blood did not reveal Him or the church. It was His Father in heaven. Having the assurance of His Dad’s presence made all the difference in the world.

Before there was anything made the Son of God moved upon the face of the water saying let there be and there was. Moved by the spirit to build His Church. Christ died for the sins of the world.

Two men in a field working. One taken and the other one left. No one knows when that will be but by the preaching of many, the sabbath is not an option.

Before the cock crowed three times Peter lost his courage denying Jesus. Not that He no longer believed Him to be the Messiah but that he was afraid to be recognized with Him. I don’t know this man he profaned. A very serious charge because if we deny Jesus now He will deny us to His Father. Having mercy on who He will, Peter remembering the words of Jesus. The cock crowed not once or twice but three times. Not that it’s important to the roster. I imagine the roster had no clue of its purpose in the gospel of Jesus. If I had to judge between Peter and the roster I say, the gates of Hell will not prevail by any means necessary.

As Jesus was taken up into the clouds the angels appeared saying for our learning, why do you men stand gazing in the sky? This same Jesus will return in like manner. I paraphrase, let’s get busy.

I was born in the sixties a product of my environment. The phrase ‘ keep it simple stupid’ was coined during the heights of the arms race. Now today the nations are a tactically prepared threat to seed time and harvest. The survival of Earth depends on our ability to farm it. Then God will destroy them who destroys the Earth.

“While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.”

This world and everything in it can be summarized as two entities. The Church advancing against the gates of Hell with many supporting roll. Like a crowing roster for one. To battle against the institutions of men. Renown men hell bent on making a name for themselves. Left their first love entering the gates of Hell. Like the fallen ones who left their first estate on one way trip away from God.

‘He who descended is the same who also ascended higher than all Heavens to restore all things.’

Not that our missions are not well intended but the god of this world has blinded our eyes convincingly. Believing that there is no profit in perfection. Artificially intelligent beings scheming for the pride of life. Like disembodied spirits in the temples of God facing off against the works of Christ, will not prevail. The church is not a lottery picked by the luck of the draw but you have to be in it to win it.

Be perfect even as our Father is in heaven is an enduring race. Not for the swift but for those who endures to the end. Stretching the expanse right before our eyes. Stretched because greater is Him who is within us than he who is in the world. Money is no comparison where wisdom prevails.

Kiss His son, or he will be angry and your way will lead to your destruction, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him. Psalm 2:12

Flesh and blood does not reveal the identity of Jesus or His church. To believe is having a relationship with the Father through the Son. Testified by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.

If everything concerning salvation could be written in books the World could not contain the volumes. So close the many commentaries and listen for the voice of God walking in the gardens of life. He is evident in the events of our life.

The heavens declares the glory of God and the firmament His handy work is clear to see and harder to believe in the pages of a book.

The declaration of the sky is God’s handy work. An experiential relationship with Him our neighbor and ourselves is also His handy work. That by the love we have one to another men will believe us to be the children of God.

Think of the past and all the things we manage to overcome. We too declares the glory of God and our future is His handy work. Everyone’s is in observance to the glory of God. Not knowing how you made it this far but we did. God made our something out of nothing and without Him there is nothing good or bad. With Him it’s all good.

Many glory in the trials of this life like dogs returning to their own vomit. Seven times more deadly than history will record. Claiming the past was better than the future. Hell bent on going back to the things that lead us to where we are now. That’s not good of any nation.

By example Lot’s wife became a pillar of salt for grieving Sodom. She remorse for the things of the world. Despite all that the angels did to save her household. If the salt have lost its flavor, savor or whatever throw it out. Not that the vision for the mission isn’t good but the Devils have prevented us. A little leaven leaven the whole lump. Doing all to stand prevailing against the gates of Hell.
