The many works of the flesh with eighteen listed out number the single fruit of the Spirit with nine parts.Often we try to convert the flesh to produce the fruit of the spirit to no avail.
In that the lust of the flesh out number the fruit of the spirit. The flesh is an open sepulchral grave but the fruit of the spirit is completely and self sufficient because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
The works the flesh might be numerous against us but we have authority in the spirit to rule ourselves by the single fruit of the spirit with nine parts. Like God we become a law unto ourselves in every situation we encounter. Justified by faith in Jesus and not in of ourselves.
So love even your enemies and do good to those who hate you to the envy of your flesh. Walk in the spirit and you won’t fulfill the list of the flesh. Ok
